What kind of buildings do you provide commercial heating solutions for?

Argonaut Heating install boilers and provide efficient commercial heating solutions for schools, colleges, universities, churches, warehouses, factories, offices, hospitals, showrooms, sports centres and student union facilities (bars, gyms, etc.). We provide assessment, commercial boiler installation and commercial boiler maintenance services for any building which is open to the public or employment and very large houses.

How often should we replace a commercial boiler heating system?

Normally the commercial boilers will need to be replaced over a period of about 12-15 years. After this time they then become very inefficient and require replacement.

When do I know that I will need a commercial boiler as part of my heating solution?

A commercial boiler is determined by the size of the boiler required on a heating system. Typically above a five bedroom house, or one which would serve a small office (with approx 12-15 radiators) is generally deemed as a commercial boiler. Another guideline is when the gas pipe serving the boiler is over 22mm in diameter.

Which are the main commercial boiler companies that you work with?

The main boiler manufacturers that Argonaut Heating deal with are: Potterton, Ideal, Hoval, Buderus, Vaillant, Clyde Combustion, Baxi, Powrmatic and Strebel.

What is used to provide the heat for commercial heating or industrial heating?

The heating for work spaces is usually by radiators. The quality heating radiator manufacturers we work with include Stelrad, Hudevad, Runtal, Ideal, Barlow, Permo, MHS, Myson, AEL, Rettig Purmo.

Do you offer a commercial boiler scrappage scheme?

Unfortunately we do not offer a scrappage scheme - that is only for domestic boiler solutions and therefore does not apply to commercial/industrial boilers. However we are able to help with commercial heating grants available via the Carbon Trust.
